Preconceived descriptions can be thought of as a scaffolding, or a guidance system for the initial growth of an idea – thrust. Once automation is achieved a descriptions only value is in its relevance and any restricting qualities will, regardless of their historical implications, be no more than a biographical footnote.
Some preconceived descriptions:
simplicity, fluidity, communication.
Its ambiguity is a side-effect of its simplicity and exists concurrently with its perfect articulation.

This space is an instance of these ideas in the form of a blog-style website on the internet. As it stands it is a strongly biased, and consciously so (this is the aforementioned scaffolding), blog of creative output and citations of external stimulation. It’s configuration is designed in line with these ideas of simplicity and ease of expression (fluidity/communication), so that a post can be submitted quickly and is perpetually open to modifications. The organisation of the site is for the sole purpose of efficiency of expression, and is under constant revision. The current system is loosely based on an integration between contents and indexes. Instead, this site uses a kind of greater index (categories) and lesser index (tags), where the greater index focuses on ease of navigation through the use of broad, structured groups, the lesser index has more of a focus on reductive and specific searching and unstructured descriptions. So far, the two major categories are source: internal (from a participant of this site)/ external and medium. These kind of categories are always difficult, but if they are viewed as a mere framework in which a sense of navigation can be achieved, the sacrifice seems small indeed.
Despite the philosophy underpinning this site, it will, for the most part, be little more than a network of friends sharing their artistic expressions and those of others they find inspiring with an emphasis on communication and the promise of revisability and simplicity expediating the process.
